Lessons are offered from age 7 to mature adults. Lessons are conducted either individually or in groups. The style of music is mainly classical with other styles included as appropriate including music appreciation. Lessons are offered either purely ‘learning for pleasure’ or with a dedicated focus on examinations. Students have the option of taking the ABRSM exams (Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music, London), TCL (Trinity College of Music, London) or AMEB (Australian Music Examinations Board). Students will participate in the annual public music concert of the school. As students progress in their learning, they are encouraged to be part of a string ensemble. |

Ensemble
In the near future, as students progress in their music education, all string students will have the opportunity to play together in an ensemble. Ensemble repertoire will be varied and will include classical and contemporary music. The ensemble will perform at the annual concert with possible opportunities to play at other venues and occasions. |
- Cadenza Music School offers the first lesson as a free trial.
- Fees are payable in advance for the whole term.
- Commitment to a minimum of 1 term is required by all students.
- The School reserves the right to suspend lessons until all music fees for the term are paid in full.
Base fees for individual lessons are as follows:
30 minutes - $40
45 minutes - $60
60 minutes - $80
Any increment in fees will normally occur at the beginning of the
calendar year after sufficient notice has been given.

Process of enrolment:
- All students wishing to join the music school are requested to contact the school via the phone number provided, visiting our website or sending an e-mail to [email protected]
- As spaces are limited, students are admitted on a ‘first come, first served basis’.
- If a student cannot be accommodated for music lessons either due to space or time constraints, their name will be added to a waiting list until there is a vacancy or a new lesson slot can be found.
- Wait listed students will be contacted and given priority as soon as a lesson slot becomes available.
- Commitment to a minimum of 1 term is required for all students.
